Catalyst

We support Olin entrepreneurs.

Who we are:

Formerly the Foundry, Catalyst is a student-run organization at Olin College of Engineering dedicated to expanding opportunities for students to engage with entrepreneurship.

What we do:

Throughout the year, we run several events to help connect students with startups, entrepreneurs, venture capital, and the Boston entrepreneurship community. In the past we have run:

  • Startup Fair: a career fair just for startup
  • Standups: a speaker series
  • Coworking space: a collaborative area for students to work on their projects
  • Collaboration with BOW: work with E-Tower (Babson) and Wellesley teams
We’re expanding our outreach to offer educational workshops, networking opportunities, and more resources Olin founders need to succeed. Stay tuned for updates!

How we do it:

We typically hold weekly meetings open for anyone to host speakers, share ideas, or to work on existing projects. The leadership board also meets once a week to work out administrative details and figure out ways to support our members. Above all, we aim to make entrepreneurship more accessible for Oliners.

Meet the team.

Our leadership board strives to help the Olin community explore new pathways in ventures, fundraising, and the world of startups.
